Mar 24, 2010 I spooled up some 10# on a baitcaster to use for both casting& jigging! Not quite the abrasion resistance of XT, but wow does it cast well! Knot strength is as good as what I've found on the other Trilene lines, excellent! I usually only tie two knots, the Uni or the Palamor and I didn't have any issues with tying either with the TransOptic.The Berkley Trilene Transoptic Monofilament fishing line is the only one that changes color for high visibility above the water's surface while remaining clear below.
